There is information ready and waiting for you about our plans to pre-register the substances in our products in our REACH information on Dow products tool.

Coming up later this year, we will work with you to validate and complete available information related to downstream use and exposure scenarios for substance registration. Dow is currently engaged within CEFIC (European Chemical Industry Council) to finalize the standardization and harmonization of the communication process along the supply chain and to get appropriate tools ready for use throughout the industry. Once the appropriate standardized and harmonized tools are available, we will begin the communication about downstream uses of our products. We expect to be able to start this communication through a secure web portal later in the second half of 2008.

To facilitate communication on uses and exposure scenarios throughout our supply chain, we encourage our customers to wait until CEFIC has finalized the harmonized communication process. This will enable all of us to employ the most efficient process by following the harmonized standards and using the tools designed for it.
